Connect Chicago provides community residents with information about local organizations that offer education, technology training and access to computers. Partners in the Connect Chicago network also provide training to local community leadership on digital media and technology applications. The overall goal is to increase the number of community residents using broadband Internet as part of broader community development strategies. Courses are also available to support the needs of non-English speakers by offering technology courses in Spanish, Polish and Chinese.
Our partner organizations provide a variety of classes that will help you to increase your digital skills and be successful in our digital world.
Are you a trainer looking for materials? Have courses to share? This is the place where we are forming the guts of our community of learning.
One of the first comprehensive technology training programs in the city, the CyberNavigators program at Chicago Public Libraries has led the way in bridging the digital divide in Chicago.
